The canyon was recently opened to tourism by the Alanya District Governor's Office. Sapadere canyon is home to different birds, trees and waterfalls. Sapadere Canyon is 360 meters long.
The canyon was formed over hundreds of years as water, wind and ground movements shaped the rocks. There is a 350-meter-long wooden and steel walking platform compatible with the natural environment to make it easier for the visitors to tour the canyon.
Along the Sapadere Canyon, interesting trees and waterfalls of various shapes and sizes are lined up to show themselves to visitors in a nature exhibition. It is a natural beauty that offers unique views to its visitors with its clean air and cool water.
If you are overwhelmed by the heat on summer days, you can swim in the natural pool under the waterfall to cool off, but it is worth remembering that the water is freezing. 😊 The temperature of the water varies between 0-12 °C throughout the year. Especially on hot summer days, you will feel yourself in a very different atmosphere than the seaside in Sapadere. Adding a change to your holiday We recommend you to see Sapadere, which opens its door for you to discover the natural beauties of Alanya.
